STORYBOARDING
Storyboarding is the tool directors use to visualise their movies before making them. It is a simple comic book version of the film, indicating shot type, camera movement and movement in the frame. These latter two are indicated with arrows drawn on the storyboard.
Basic rules for what to storyboard are:

- key moments or shots in a scene
- a cut needs a new storyboard
- don't write inside the frame unless words are going to appear on the screen!
- number the boards
